Service technician

WHO ARE WE?  A friendly and warm company where real craftsmen and - women use their eye for detail and precision to create perfect High Speed doors. In our production factory you have to work (of course) and the standard is high! Quality & Safety are top priority. But besides hard work, there is also time for FUN! We have a party committee (in which you can also participate). They regularly organise fun activities such as a tasty (and healthy!) breakfast together, going to see Cirque du Soleil or partying together at Couleur Café... Our Green Team, which thinks about ecological and environmentally friendly activities (e.g. a vegetable garden at work), can also use a new member.

A day as a service technician?  Every day you will leave home to visit our industrial customers, where you will be responsible for maintenance and repairs at the high speed doors. Usually (70%) you won't do this alone, one of your colleagues will help you so that the interventions can be done safely. Both mechanical and electrical work will be covered. Glenn, our office employee, will give you the planning on a daily basis. We are flexible; starting early is part of the plan (we are looking for early birdsJ) but it’s up to you to decide at what time you end your day! In our company a lot of work takes place in the winter months, in the summer months you can benefit from extra recuperation time… the service vehicle is replenished by a night courier, that way you can start your day immediately. Together with your colleagues from the service department, you take part in the monthly toolbox meetings. You report directly to Ignace, our Service Manager. He is already eager to meet you!

HOW ABOUT YOU? You are an early riser and like to go to the first customer before the traffic jams! You will have the opportunity to determine your own hours afterwards (but of course min. 8h per day). You took a technical training course, preferably in electrical installation techniques or electro-mechanics (motivation is more important to us than a diploma!). Thanks to your electrical and mechanical insight, you are a real ‘error detective’; not only do you repair the defect, you also think about the possible causes! As a technician, you are tired of always having to work alone (with us, you work as a team!). You speak Dutch OR French, but you have notions of the other national language. You are a goal-getter (It’s possible to receive a bonus of 3600 euro which is entirely dependent on your own work/behaviour).
