Teaching our teams the right reflexes in case of fire

A hands-on training combining theory and practice to strengthen our safety culture

Safety is a key part of our daily operations. That’s why we organize a yearly fire safety training for our teams, in collaboration with Succes Invest. This half-day session is designed to teach essential safety reflexes and improve everyone’s ability to respond in case of fire.

The training is divided into two parts. The first one, theoretical, helps participants understand the most common causes of fire, identify the right type of fire extinguisher, and review how to alert others, evacuate the premises, and stay safe. It lays the foundations for anticipating and handling risks.

The second part focuses entirely on practical exercises. Participants learn how to use a fire extinguisher, how to extinguish a burning gas cylinder, and how to put out a cooking fire with a fire blanket. These realistic scenarios, led by a professional trainer, are crucial to developing the right gestures in a safe, controlled environment.

More and more colleagues are joining the training each year, showing a growing collective awareness and commitment to workplace safety. Each session strengthens our ability to react quickly and effectively in emergencies.

We’d like to thank Succes Invest for their ongoing support, and our internal safety coordinator for the flawless organization of this new edition.
