Vacancy Product Manager

Entrematic Belgium is looking for a Product Manager (M/F).

Primary objective of this position: 

The product manager defines and co-ordinates the product evolution of the Dynaco, Ditec and Nergeco branded high performance doors.

Main Duties: 

  • Taking overall responsibility for the assigned product categories in close collaboration with  Engineering and Marketing/Sales
  • Steering the Product Development and Product Introduction process starting from the definition of new product concepts, through market and feasibility studies to implementation and launch
  • Organization of obtaining, structuring and guaranteeing the use of the Voice of Customer input
  • Effectively managing the overall product portfolio by reducing product overlaps whilst simultaneously identifying and addressing gaps 
  • Ensuring that the sales teams are informed about new standards, product changes and amended technical specifications
  • Researching and presenting competitive market analysis to support product innovations
  • Ownership of the product information released through held within various channels (eg. websites, BIM, …)
  • Working in conjunction with the sales teams to define pricing strategies and levels for both doors and spare parts
  • Supporting the sales and marketing teams for the development of innovative promotional concepts and programs
  • Reporting to group level (NPI, GLUE, gateway process, …)
  • Facilitation and presidency of the Product Council

The product manager reports to the Entrematic Europe High Performance Doors sales director.

Job requirements:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of valid experience in a product management function
  • IT literate with good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French and English
  • Technical affinity
  • Eye for detail and a structured, analytical approach
  • Ability to simultaneously manage projects with varying priorities
  • Team player who builds relationships across organizational hierarchies
